Last market (for a little while at least)

Just a quick post to let you know that my next market in on the 25th of June at the All Saints Church Market.  It's actually going to be my last market for quite a while.  I may have mentioned (one or twice) that I'm off overseas for a few months, so hence no markets.

Thank you to all of you that have supported me over the last few months, and I plan to be back up and running in November.  If you have any special requests / orders could you let me know by the 21st of June to ensure I get them done before I go.

Market No. 2

I've got my second market coming up this Saturday 28th of May.  It's 9am to 2pm at the All Saints Church South Hobart.  I'll be in the back hall (next to the cake stall).  Hope to see you there.

I've just made my sparrow brooches in two new colours; purple and pale blue.  They will be available for purchase at the market this Saturday.

Post market

Hello again.

I've been having a bit of a break after my April market, been busy doing other stuff (mainly watching Eurovision - Ireland was robbed I tell you, robbed!).

Thank you to all of you who came along on the day and to Sarah who was great as lunch cover.  Market was busy throughout the day, however wished I'd been told it actually starts at 9am not 8am!  That extra hour in bed would have been great.

Unfortunately I only took one photo and no 'action' shots, it does at least show the new banner.  Next market is on Saturday May 28th at All Saints Church, South Hobart again starting at 9am not 8am!

I've also added a new section to the blog, 'Current Stock' it's on the far right.  I'm slowly updating it so please be patient with me. :)

As promised I've been busy creating new things for tomorrows market.  Some new supplies arrived this week so I've be able to create some different things, including a nod to our soon to be Princess Catherine.

Ex Libris Rose is going to be having their first market stall at the All Saints Church Market on Saturday April 30th from 8am to 2pm.

Black is the new black

It's official black is the new black.

I must admit as much as I love bright colours and pretty pastels, black just looks so smart.  It's also a good option for me on winter mornings when I'm groping around for a clean pair of stockings and the thought of matching my earrings to my outfit is just too much effort.

My best customer (who shall remain nameless) had previously cleaned me out of black earrings but I was able to make a few new sets this weekend between getting shed on by a very excited pug and discussing the merits of tea with my cousin.

I've been working hard on my bobby pins in the last few weeks.  I'm having lots of fun matching the pins to the different flowers.  Very cute don't you think?

Due some price increases by my Missouri supplier (I just love saying 'Missouri'), I am adjusting the prices of some of my pieces.
